For all of our sake, I hope you're wrong.

If Obama & Bush are basically the same then there is no hope for any of us.

HA! Of course not.

Actually I voted for Nader. Seriously.

Nader? Awesome. You've got bigger balls than I do. I should have voted for Nader. All true progressives should.

Well the Libertarian Party nominated a knob who, in one of the most puzzling moves in third party history spent most of his campaign insulting Ron Paul instead of building on the success he had in the primary.

Nader is a guy who wants probably 9 out of every 10 things I want. In fact, I probably have as many disagreements with him as I do with Ron Paul.

Well, I hope you're wrong. I'm a realist in that I don't believe that simply electing Obama will change the world. However, if he is able to realize his vision, and we all pitch in to make this country better, we could see improvement.

Our moral capital in the world has already improved though, other nations no longer think American voters are retarded. ;)

So you voted for Nader! Well done. I went through the list and Nader was the one that matched me best too.

I think it's important to give Obama a chance -- to only hold him accountable for the things he does. In many ways, I think you're right -- he will be more of the same. I am hopeful that there will be a few steps forward. If Obama can give us a less belligerent foreign policy, close Guantanamo, and stop torture and extraordinary renditions that will be a big improvement over the status quo.

And if he doesn't -- then I get to say a big 'I TOLD YOU SO' to all my liberal friends -- sounds like a win/win for me ;)

Had no idea Barr was anti-Paul. had I known that, I probably would have voted for Nader, again.

Oh well. My vote didn't count anyways because by the time they got to California and I got off work and voted, the election was over.
